Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy, born November 25, 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer who has been recognized for her significant contribution for American television. She has been praised for her exceptional performances on the American television show Law & Order in which she played Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons and Crossing Jordan, wherein she was Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six years. Hennessy is also known for her outstanding performances in RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. The other films she has appeared in comprise Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) as well as The Acting Class. Hennessy started her acting career along with her sister in 1988 as twin call girls in Dead Ringers. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Then in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she was Dr. Marie Lazarus. The big break for her occurred later that year when she joined the ensemble of the hit NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. In this role she entertained viewers for a period of three seasons until the year the year 1996. Mary Louise Parker.......................Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2 1964, height 5' 7 1/2" (1,71 m)) is an American actress best known for her current lead role on Showtime's television series Weeds portraying Nancy Botwin for which she has received several nominations and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2006. Parker is a regular in a number of movies and television shows, such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys from the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. As a result of these roles she received the Golden Globe Award in 2006 and an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker has also been awarded an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 for her performance in the Broadway show Proof.
